A meter-high FLOOD flooded the Pela Mampang area, Mampang Prapatan, south of Jakarta due to heavy rains that hit DKI Jakarta on Friday afternoon.

Ronal admitted that residents affected by the flooding provided ropes as a means of getting through the flooding.
“We plan to use a mine because motorcycles and the like can’t go through. We can’t go through it, we only use a rope to hold it,” said the 47-year-old.

PUK officer for the Mampang Prapatan Environmental Service Water Agency Kaslim M said the flooding not only submerged the Bangka XI Ujung Road area, but also the Warung Buncit area. , Pasar Jagal, Kebalen 7 and the Pondok Karya real estate complex. .
He said the heavy rainfall made the area submerged with flood variations of 80 to 100 centimeters (cm).
