Toyota presents future mobility at GIIAS 2021

TOYOTA is back at the 2021 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) with the theme Mobility Happiness for All. Toyota’s participation in this exhibition is also part of Toyota’s 50-year journey in Indonesia, which has grown and developed with the people of Indonesia.

At GIIAS 2021, Toyota presents the All New Veloz and All New Avanza. Both are now undergoing a total transformation in line with Toyota’s spirit of making the car ever better.

In addition, Toyota also presents the new brand TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR), which was launched recently. TGR is featured as a brand that not only offers sports brands available in sports cars and sports cars, but also to meet the needs of the daily sports lifestyle of people.

“At this GIIAS, we will be paying tribute to the community by showcasing five GAZOO Racing brand improvement products. In addition to the Fortuner GR Sport and the Rush GR Sport, we will also present the Yaris GR Sport, Raize GR Sport, at the Agya GR Sport, which will appear from today with a sportier interior design to give customers a sportier feel, ”said Marketing Director Fumitaka Kawashima.

Toyota supports emission reduction efforts in Indonesia

In line with efforts to support the government’s commitment to reduce CO2 emissions in Indonesia through the expansion of electrification technology, currently Toyota has also presented 10 models of electrified vehicles with Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) technology which in total recorded sales of nearly 5,000 units.

Toyota also presents an EV ecosystem integrated into Toyota’s electrification products through the EV Smart Mobility Bali project. There are 30 Toyota electrified vehicles that can be used by the public, including 20 Toyota COMS (BEV), 5 Toyota C + POD (BEV) and 5 Toyota Prius (PHEV).

Toyota is also showcasing a full line of electrified vehicles, from the Lexus UX 300e, COMS, C + POD, Prius PHEV and the new Camry Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) as Toyota’s flagship sedan that applied engine technology 4th generation hybrid.
