The suspect in the alleged CPNS fraud case, Olivia Nathania, has been formally detained by police as of today, Thursday (11/11).
From Media Indonesia’s surveillance, Olivia left the Ditreskrimum building at Polda Metro Jaya at 8:19 PM WIB. He came out in jail gear at Biddokes Polda Metro Jaya to undergo a checkup, as he previously admitted he was not feeling well.
Polda Metro General Crimes Director Jaya Kombes Tubagus Ade Hidayat said Olivia would be detained for the next 20 days.
“Yes (20 days), the maximum detention is for the first stage,” Tubagus said, contacted, Thursday (11/11).
Tubagus said Olivia was held for further investigation as a suspect.
Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya investigators have named singer Nia Daniaty’s son Olivia Nathania as a suspect in the alleged selection of a fictitious candidate for public office (CPNS).

Wadireskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Jerry Raymond Siagian said Olivia was suspected of violating Article 378 of the Criminal Code regarding fraud.
“The results of the Section 378 evidence case are consistent with the Police Report (LP),” Jerry said when contacted Thursday (7/11).
Jerry said Olivia was present at Polda Metro Jaya today to be questioned as a suspect. Asked about the detention, Jerry said it would depend on the results of the examination later.
“If he is (detained), we will see the results of the investigation later. We will see the progress after the results of the examination. Whether it is cooperative or not depends on the examination. We will wait,” a he declared.
As is known, Olivia Nathania and her husband, Rafly N Tilaar, have been reported to Polda Metro Jaya on suspicion of committing fraud with the mode of being able to get someone into an official. The victims of this fraud are estimated at 225 people with an estimated loss of Rp 9.7 billion. (OL-7)
