CRISTIANO Ronaldo has reportedly sent a message to Manchester United owners, the Glazer family, regarding the position of coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Solskjaer’s current position is indeed at the limit. The Norwegian coach is at risk of sacking following a string of embarrassing results in recent times.
As we know, Ronaldo has expressed his personal attitude towards Ole that he wants the tactician to have more time so he can build his best team at Manchester United.
Manchester United started off brilliantly at the start of the season, where they won three of their first four games, respectively against Leeds United, Wolves and Newcastle United. However, since the 1-2 loss to Young Boys in the Champions League, the Red Devils have lost their best touch.
Manchester United are currently on a six-game losing streak in their last 12 appearances in all competitions, which threatens to threaten Solskjaer’s position as head coach. During that span, however, Ronaldo has been impressive, with the superstar scoring nine goals since coming back for Man United for a second spell.
Ronaldo was supposed to be angered by Solskjaer’s club standards. He was also reportedly angry with the players as their intensity on the pitch was far from satisfactory.
However, some time ago Ronaldo appeared to deny the above issues by saying that Solskjaer needs time to bring out the best side of his squad.
“We’re at a time when, in my opinion, Manchester United are making some changes. They bought me, they bought Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho,” Ronaldo said.
“The adaptation will take time, even the system of the game we play. But I think, step by step, we have to remember that anything is possible. I’m not just talking about individual things on my part. in order first. To win something collectively it’s easier than to win individually, “said the Portugal captain. (Goal / OL-15)
