Indonesia national team coach Shin Tae-yong said Egy Maulana Vikri and Elkan Baggott could play in the AFF Cup 2020, which will be held from December 2021 in Singapore.
“Elkan and Egy have been cleared (by the club) to play in the AFF Cup,” Shin said after leading his team’s training at Field B Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta on Tuesday 9/11.
Previously, it was rumored that Egy and Elkan were not allowed to participate in the AFF Cup 2020 by their respective clubs, namely FK Senica in Slovakia and Ipswich Town in England.

Egy and Elkan’s names are currently on the list of Indonesian national team players attending training camp (TC) for AFF Cup 2020 preparations.
The two are expected to take part in FIFA international friendlies against Afghanistan on Tuesday (11/16) and Myanmar on Thursday (11/25) in Turkey.
