Forward Radamel Falcao was ruled out between three and four weeks with a thigh injury. This is what Liga club Rayo Vallecano revealed on Monday (8/11).
“Rayo Vallecano’s medical team report that first-team player Radael Falcao suffered a muscle tear in his right thigh. He is expected to be out for between three and four weeks,” Rayo said in a statement.
The 35-year-old forward has been in excellent form since joining Rayo on a free transfer earlier this season, scoring five goals in seven games.

Falcao’s scintillating form helped Rayo to place sixth in the La Liga table after 13 games.
It is also confirmed that Falcao will not play for Colombia in the World Cup qualifiers against Brazil and Paraguay. (AFP / OL-1)
