KARIM Benzema could leave Real Madrid before his contract expires in 2023. This condition could arise if Los Blancos bring in Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
Since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema has become a protagonist at the Santiago Bernabeu. The French striker would have wanted to be the only protagonist and did not want to share the stage with the Norwegian bomber.
Moreover, Benzema is aware that he will turn 34 in December and does not want to fight for the starting position. He therefore considered not renewing his contract and chose to leave for free.
In the same report, PSG and the Sultan’s new club Newcastle United were named as two clubs interested in Benzema’s services. Newcastle identified the Frenchman as the first target to lead the Magpies revolution, but Benzema was not at all interested.
La Liga’s temporary top scorer has actually opened the door if PSG were interested in asking for his hand. The Parisians intend to offer the last big contract after Benzema leaves Madrid in 2023.
Benzema has scored 14 goals in 15 appearances in all competitions for Madrid this season, his seven assists also keep Los Blancos in second place, one point behind Real Sociedad and still have one game in hand. (Goal / OL-15)
