MARSEILLE got the three points from the Clermont siege after a 1-0 victory over the hosts in the Ligue 1 week 12 match at the Gabriel-Montpied stadium on Monday (1/11) early in the morning WIB.
AS Roma striker Cengiz Under was the hero of Marseille’s victory after scoring the only goal of the game midway through the first half.
Receiving comments from Matteo Guendouzi, Under confidently shot a cross from the right side of the box to beat goalkeeper Arthur Desmas.

The hosts almost turned back late in the first half when Elbasan Rashani finished a cross for Pierre-Yves Hamel, but his shot went too high and missed the target.
Marseille started the second half convincingly when Boubacar Kamara delivered a nice through ball, but Konrad de la Fuente’s finish was saved by Desmas.
Under nearly scored his second goal in the 73rd minute, but this time Desmas quickly parried the Turk’s effort.
The ball was still in Marseille’s possession and returned to a cross from Dimitri Payet, but Arkadiusz Milik’s header ended up hitting the crossbar.
The 1-0 scoreline lasted until the final whistle and Marseille managed to find their way back to victory after only having drawn draws in their previous two games.
This victory brought Marseille to third place in the standings with a cumulative 22 points, while Clermont, who created a shock at the start of the season, is now in 15th place with 13 points.
For the next match, the two teams will face each other on Sunday (7/11) when Marseille welcomes Metz at the Vélodrome and Clermont visits the team at the bottom of AS Saint-Etienne.
Three days earlier, Marseille will appear first in the Europa League to welcome the arrival of Lazio at the Vélodrome. (Ant / OL-1)
