BARCELONA have reportedly negotiated with Xavi Hernandez to replace Ronald Koeman, who was sacked from his coaching post after a 1-0 loss to Rayo Vallecano on Thursday (28/10) early this morning at Vallecas stadium.
The minor result left Barcelona in ninth place in the La Liga table with just four wins in their first ten La Liga appearances.
Koeman’s dismissal has been announced on Barcelona’s official website. The Catalan club said it was club president Joan Laporta who informed Koeman of the sacking immediately after the game against Rayo Vallecano.

“FC Barcelona have relieved Ronald Koeman of his duties as first-team coach. Club president Joan Laporta informed him of the decision following the loss to Rayo Vallecano. Ronald Koeman will bid farewell to the team Thursday at Ciutat Esportiva. “
“FC Barcelona would like to thank him for his service to the Club and wish him the best in his professional career.”
Barcelona have decided to quickly find a replacement for Ronald Koeman. There are several alternatives that Barcelona have in mind. However, the main goal is to bring the legend, Xavi, back to Camp Nou.
Without thinking, the legendary Barcelona midfielder has reportedly received an offer to return to the Catalans.
Although his contract with Al Sadd has just been extended, the club would have no objection to sending Xavi back to Camp Nou.
Barcelona are trying to negotiate the termination of Xavi’s contract, so that he can immediately leave Qatar, to immediately take charge of the Blaugrana.
With Al Sadd, Xavi has a really good trend. In 34 consecutive matches, Al Sadd has never lost under Xavi’s command as a coach.
Xavi led 95 Al Sadd matches. In total, 63 wins were won, 15 draws and 17 losses were swallowed up, with the winning percentage reaching 66.32%. (Goal / OL-1)
