Pogba criticizes the media for his relationship with Solskjaer

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has denied rumors that there is a rift between him and Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the French player calling the rumors fake news. Pogba’s current contract begins his final year at Manchester United. Club management are known for trying to keep the 28-year-old midfielder at Old Trafford.

However, British media outlet The Sun recently published an updated report regarding speculation about Pogba’s future. They claim Pogba wants to leave Manchester United while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still the coach of the Red Devils. The report even claims that Pogba refused to speak to Solskjaer after Manchester United were humiliated by Liverpool 5-0 at Old Trafford last weekend.

Not accepting the news, Pogba clarified some time ago via his social media accounts. Via his Twitter account, Pogba denied all information and said the journalist in question only wanted to cause a sensation by making fake news. “The media wants to once again create controversy with 100% fake news. They use big lies to create a headline,” he wrote on Instagram Stories, quoted by Sky Sports on Wednesday (10/27) .

“The journalist who used my name to create this controversy is making up something that doesn’t exist.”

Pogba also denied reports that he wanted to leave United because of Solskjaer, saying he respected the manager and never intended to leave as stated. “The only reason I’m clarifying this is because they don’t respect my coach, my club and my supporters. My post is just one: less you (MU fans) read news like this one the better. Because they (the journalists) have no shame and will say whatever they want without any foundation, “concluded the former Juventus player. (OL-8)
